INTRODUCTION TO CALLIGRAPHY

11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the West Oaks Library, 1821 E. Silver Star Road, Ocoee. Learn about the origins of calligraphy and get introduced to some materials used to create it. Practice using this form of writing to create endless projects. Registration required at (407) 835-7323.

 

YARN DOODLES

10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Winter Garden Library, 805 E. Plant St. Elementary students are invited to design a unique work of art using yarn as the medium. (407) 835-7323.
