Track Shack Foundation appoints new board member

Adam Fenichel, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedic care and hand surgery at Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic, was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees at the Track Shack Foundation. Founded in 1994, the foundation was established to promote and encourage health and fitness with an emphasis on youth programs. To date, the foundation has contributed more than $2 million to local programs. A Maitland resident for 20 years, Dr. Fenichel is an avid runner and has been a member of the Track Shack MarathonFest program for the past seven years.

Finalists receive $1K donations for charities

The Orlando Regional Realtor Association (ORRA) membership recently voted for the following three out of seven ORRA Good Neighbor Awards finalists to each receive a $1,000 donation from ORRA to their charities: Jennifer Cannon of Keller Williams Advantage Realty for Chaps Center Inc.; Heissam Jebailey of Royle Realty Group for BASE Camp Children's Cancer Foundation; and Victoria McVay-Froom of The Real Estate Firm of Orlando for Children's Home Society of Florida. The four remaining Good Neighbor Awards finalists were each received a $500 donation.

Firm plans to expand

Hold-Thyssen Inc. a real estate services firm based in Winter Park, is expanding to include a maintenance division. Anthony Fisher, vice president of Hold-Thyssen in the Orlando region, said he plans to expand the department significantly over the next 24 months. Hold-Thyssen Real Estate Services currently manages more than 20 properties in the Central Florida area that total just over 1 million square feet of retail, office and industrial space.
