WINTER GARDEN  S.R. 429 near Plant Street is now open in all directions after a crash Thursday morning shut down all southbound lanes and left only one northbound lane open.

According to a press release from Florida Highway Patrol, Joshua Frye, 36, was driving northbound in the right lane in a Ford flatbed as Tammy Keen, 48, drove northbound in the left lane in a Ford SUV. Frye then switched to the left lane, colliding with Keen and sending both vehicles into the center grass median, before Frye's vehicle came to an eventual rest in the southbound lanes.

Frye, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries, according to the report. Keen, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered serious injuries.

An AirCare helicopter arrived to transport a patient to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Troopers said the patient is stable and alert.
