A Winter Park teen already accused of manslaughter in connection with the death of 15-year-old Roger Trindade has been arrested once again, according to the Winter Park Police Department.

Simeon Hall was placed under arrest for aggravated battery the evening of Friday, Oct. 8 following a reported attack on another juvenile earlier that day.

The victim reported the incident to the police and positively identified the suspect as Simeon Hall, who was currently under home detention at the time of the reported attack.

The victim suffered “significant” injuries to the head, though they are reported as non-life threatening.

The arrest comes just a week before the one-year anniversary of a tragic incident in Winter Park’s Central Park – one that took the life of Winter Park High Schooler Roger Trindade.

Three Winter Park high-schoolers – including Hall – were arrested following the Oct. 15, 2016 altercation that left Roger Trindade brain dead. He was kept on life support and then removed from it just a couple days later.

Last month in the Trindade case, a judge denied a stand your ground motion — a defense put up by attorneys representing two of the juveniles who have been charged with manslaughter and battery. A third juvenile was charged with tampering with evidence.

A trial date is set for Nov. 15.
