Windermere residents gathered Sunday evening at Central Park to participate in the 2018 Windermere Christmas Golf Cart Parade.
The holiday-decorated golf carts launched from Oakdale Street to spread Christmas cheer as they embarked on a two-hour tour around Windermere's residential dirt roads that ended at Town Hall. Last year, 12 golf carts participated in the event. This year, nearly 30 joined in the holiday fun, said parade organizer Chad McGhee.
All proceeds of the event were donated to the Windermere Police Department in honor of Robert “Robbie” German.
