A total of six ordinances that each deal with two separate properties will be addressed for their first reading at the Winter Garden City Commission meeting Thursday night.

Ordinances 18-11, 18-12 and 18-13 pertain to the annexation, future land-use designation and rezoning of a 0.16-acre parcel located at 720 Magnolia Ave.

Together, the ordinances would annex the property into the City of Winter Garden, amend its future land-use designation from Orange County low residential to City low-density residential and rezone it from Orange County R-2 residential district to City R-2 residential district.

Also on the agenda are three ordinances that deal with a 0.21-acre property located at 557 Ninth St: 18-14, 18-15 and 18-16. The ordinances would annex the property into the city, change the future land-use designation from Orange County low residential to City low density residential and rezone the property from Orange County R-2 residential district to City R-2 residential district.

Commissioners will also consider Ordinance 18-10 for its second reading.

This ordinance deals with the vacation of utility and drainage easements located between two adjacent properties at 950 and 954 Tildenville School Road so that the owner may combine both properties into one lot and construct a single-family home.

Commissioners also will consider a recommendation to approve City Clerk Angee Grimmage as the city's Records Management Liaison Officer (RMLO). As the city clerk, Grimmage already is the legal custodian of the city’s records, however, the formal designation of RMLO is to appease state requirements.

Any residents with questions or concerns may contact Winter Garden City Hall at (407) 656-4111.
