Commission to vote on property sale for downtown development project

Winter Garden commissioners will vote for on the sale of downtown property for development at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at City Hall. 

The commission will decide on whether to approve or deny the sale of a property at 270 W. Plant Street to Crazy Plant Holdings LLC for the development of a three-story, 45,687-square-foot commercial building downtown for $423,000.

According to city documents, the bottom floor will be over 15,000 square feet, half for retail use and the other half for restaurant use. The top two floors will provide over 30,000 square feet of office space. The agreement includes an easement for the installation of an underground drainage pipe on city property.
