Oakland to vote on four public hearings

The Town Commission meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the Oakland Meeting Hall.

The Oakland Town Commission will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St. It also can be accessed virtually.

The consent agenda includes discussions on office space, a lease-purchase agreement for school laptops, a letter of support for the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation and the manager’s report.

The commission also will vote on four public hearings pertaining to picketing on public property; no-parking and school drop-off signs; a transportation impact fee amendment; and land burning and clearing.
