Jake Petroski, of Windermere, announced his candidacy for the Orange County School Board District 4 seat.

Petroksi worked as a Central Florida public school teacher and has two children enrolled in OCPS. Petroski believes his classroom experience gives him insight on the impact of legislation and policy on schools and teachers.

“Strong readership is critical,” he said. “We are facing unique challenges as a community, and we all have a vested interest in students' success. I want to help forge and cultivate pathways of success for every student.”
