Windermere Prep girls volleyball defeats Freedom 3-2

The Lady Lakers bested Lady Patriots, 3-2, Tuesday, Sept. 5, in a home, non-district game.

The Windermere Preparatory School girls varsity volleyball team defeated Freedom High School with a tally of 3-2 Tuesday, Sept. 5. 

It was a tough battle on the court for both, the Lady Lakers and the Lady Patriots, through the entirety of the game. However, Windermere Prep came through during a decisive fifth set to settle the victory. 

The Lady Lakers won the first set 25-23, lost the second and third sets 20-25 and 16-25, respectively; and, won the fourth and fifth sets 25-22 and 15-13, respectively.

With the win, Windermere Prep holds currently a 2-2 overall season record and is getting ready to host Trinity Prep at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, for a non-district game.
