Thirty women were honored for their works and contributions to the arts during an awards ceremony at the Orlando Public Library.
Yellow tulips and awards ribbons lined a table on stage at the Orlando Public Library on Saturday, March 23, to be given out during an awards ceremony for women making a difference in the arts community. Each year, nonprofit organization Women in the Arts Inc. recognizes female artists — both local and international — for their works and contributions to the presence of women in the arts. The winner of this year’s awards ceremony was Orange County-based artist Zoraye Cyrus.
