The Equality Florida organization put on a lively fundraiser for LGBTQ advocacy at the Orlando Museum of Art on Friday, Nov. 2. The Greater Orlando Gala had live music from the Silkee Smoove Band, singers and dancers from Opera Del Sol, and a number of art pieces and gifts up for auction. The organization honored gun advocate and Pulse survivor Brandon Wolf with the Voice for Equality Award, as well as Michael Tomas and John Michael Exquisite Weddings and Events with an Equality Means Business award. Equality Florida hoped to raise $250,000 by the end of the night.
