Football: Windermere Prep tops Berean Christian in spring game

WINDERMERE The Windermere Prep football team defeated West Palm Beach's Berean Christian 13-8 in a spring football game May 19.

Robert Brand and backup quarterback Ryan King each scored rushing touchdowns for the Lakers.

The game started late after a storm rolled through prior to kickoff. With limited daylight, the two teams played just three quarters.
