After a tough battle against the Wolverines, the Panthers fell short by a few points in each of the three sets.
The Dr. Phillips High School girls volleyball defense wasn't able to stop the offense of the Wolverines during a district game Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Despite a tough battle on the court and a strong performance display from both teams, the Panthers fell short on each set; 25-20 on the first set, 25-22 on the second set and 25-22 on the third set.
Dr. Phillips will play Bishop Moore during a home, non-district, game at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15.
