Windermere Prep students raised more than $50,000 for Children’s Miracle Network during their 2021 Lakerthon fundraiser.
Windermere Preparatory School’s annual Lakerthon fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 27, marked the school’s first larger on-campus event since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and it was all for the kids. Lakerthon is a fun, activity-filled event for students and families to enjoy as they raise money for Children’s Miracle Network to provide lifesaving treatment for children in need. Safety precautions at the outdoor event included mandatory masks and hand-sanitizing stations. This year, participants raised $50,774.78 while dancing the evening away outside the school’s Cypress Center for the Performing Arts.
