Enzian’s Popcorn Flicks in Central Park will feature “Viva Las Vegas” from 8 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13. Gather friends, grab a blanket and enjoy classic family films once a month under the stars in Winter Park’s Central Park. Bring a picnic dinner and make it a perfect night out for the whole family or an unforgettable date. Films and popcorn are free compliments of Enzian. For more information visit Enzian.org or call 407-629-1088.

SEPT. 14

On Friday, Sept. 14, Casa Feliz will host "Family Night at Casa Feliz" and show the Pixar movie “Up” on a large screen in the front yard, 656 N. Park Ave. Families are invited to come at 7:30 p.m. to set up a picnic blanket or lawn chairs. The movie will begin at 8 p.m. Popcorn and refreshments will be available. “Up” tells the story of a widower who refuses to yield to developers, saving his house by attaching it to a giant air balloon and traveling the world. This is a particularly fitting tale for Casa Feliz, the house that was saved from demolition by Winter Park citizens in 2001. This event is complimentary, but space is somewhat limited on the lawn, so do come early.

SEPT. 15

On Sept. 15, Perkin’s Restaurant and Bakery locations across the nation will celebrate Give Kids the World Pancake Day at Perkin’s.
