"The Great Duck Derby" features a series of rubber duck races and FREE family activities on Saturday, Feb. 18. The Peabody Ducks begin the festivities with a march to the Amphitheater at 10:00 a.m. The little yellow rubber ducks will race in the Garden's pond off Howell Creek at 12:15 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Admission and activities are free. Sponsors buy big ducks for a special race at 11:15 a.m. Baby Rubber Ducks can be purchased for $5 at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market on Saturday, Feb. 11, and on Derby Day. Proceeds benefit the Mead Education Programs. Mead Garden is located at 1300 S. Denning Drive in Winter Park.
