Time is almost up for another season of free Friday evenings at the Morse. The Museum’s extended Friday hours continue only through April 26. Friday Nights at the Morse are a special invitation to the community to come and enjoy the collection at no charge, and to take advantage of programming that includes live music, art demonstrations, and family and curator tours. Brown Bag Matinee will return to the McKean Pavilion, behind the Morse Museum and located at 161 W. Canton Ave., Friday, April 26, at noon with “Modern Marvels: Capture of Light—The Invention of Photography.” The event is free. Call 407-645-5311 for more information on this event.

Orlando Science School is participating in Relay for Life of College Park on Saturday, April 27 at Edgewater High School located at 1700 Edgewater Dr., Orlando. The Opening Ceremonies start at 2 p.m. followed by Survivors Lap, Caregivers Lap and Luminaria Ceremony at 9 p.m.

You are not Alone Travel (for families) will show guests how to partner up with other people or groups to save money and have companions on travel adventures. It’s from noon to 2 p.m. at the Maitland Public Library.

The Tijuana Flats – Just In Queso Super You! 5k is a fun run/walk to benefit three local and worthwhile organizations: Special Olympics Florida, Just In Queso Foundation and OUTFOXCANCER. The 5k will be held on Saturday, May 4, at 7:30 a.m. beginning at Showalter Field in Winter Park. Registration fee is $30, or $20 for students.
