The Wildcats are into the district championship game after beating Timber Creek 5-4 Wednesday. Aggressive hitting and a hard-to-argue-with 7-1 record in district play helped Winter Park varsity baseball have a solid chance heading into district championship week, and they pounced on the Wolves with a six-strikeout effort by starter Michael Bulmer, helped by Hunter Lee's batting 1.000 on the day.

The Wildcats will face University in the district championship at 7 p.m. Friday. at Colonial High School. Both teams have earned a spot in the first round of regional action next week.
