ORRA names Realtors of the year

The Orlando Regional Realtor Association officially named two Winter Park/Maitland women as Realtors of the Year at its annual awards ceremony. Realtor Cynthia Egeli, of Keller Williams Winter Park, was selected for the Grant Clarke Volunteer Award, and Melissa Barry, business development and realtor relations specialist of RP Funding Inc., was named Affiliate Member of the year. ORRA also named Longwood Realtor Jeff Fagan, of Watson Realty Corp., as its Realtor of the Year at its annual awards ceremony. The Realtor of the Year award is the highest honor that’s given out to ORRA members. Fagan was selected for his professionalism and commitment to the association and to the real estate industry.

Phase 2 of Aulin’s Landing opens

M/I Homes recently opened Phase 2 at Aulin’s Landing, a gated community located off County Road 419 about one mile east of the Econlockhatchee River in Oviedo in southeast Seminole County. David Byrnes, area president for M/I Homes, said Phase 2 at Aulin’s Landing offers 17 homesites with homes ranging from 1,857 square feet of living area to 4,000 square feet.

Owens Realty Capital acquires buildings, land

Owens Realty Capital announced recently that they have acquired a portfolio of seven buildings and two land parcels in the Hannibal Square district of downtown Winter Park for $32.4 million. The assemblage of seven buildings is situated along West New England and West Welbourne Avenues between South Pennsylvania and South Virginia Avenues in the Hannibal Square section of downtown Winter Park.

Longwood villas earn awards

Palermo Vista, an intimate community of only 16 luxury villas with an Italian village theme on Longwood Hills Road in Longwood, recently completed its lushly designed and landscaped courtyard as the development received two prestigious honors. For the second year in a row, Palermo Vista was recognized as a “Most Outstanding Multi-Family Project” and will be awarded again as a creative and ground-breaking project at the Logix ICF Awards at the presentation this February in Las Vegas.

Firm negotiates two leases

Emerson International recently negotiated two long-term lease agreements for a total of 11,509 rentable square feet of office space at Major Plaza II in Southwest Orlando and at Louisiana Office Park in Winter Park. Kenneth Koch, director of leasing for Emerson International who owns and manages the office developments, signed a lease at Major Plaza II for 6,057 square feet. Crystal Clear Digital Marketing, a marketing firm that serves healthcare and wellness businesses, is the new tenant at the Class A office building located at 5750 Major Blvd. The tenant previously leased 2,012 square feet at Major Plaza I at 5728 Major Blvd. and the business moved to expand into triple its original space. Zac Starkey, leasing associate with Emerson signed a new lease with Advanced Recovery Systems Homes, an integrated behavioral healthcare management company, who leased 5,452 square feet in Louisiana Office Park at 1177 Louisiana Ave.
