Winter Park’s arts community once again showed its artistic side with the second annual Weekend of the Arts from Feb. 15 to 18. The event, organized by the city’s Arts and Culture Alliance, had 18 arts groups across the city showcased their cultural programs and events to the Winter Park community.
The Morse Museum of American Art kicked off the weekend with an open house featuring live music from the Beautiful Music Chamber Quartet on Friday, Feb. 15. The museum was free for the entirety of the weekend.
Families spent time making crafts and exploring Rolling’s College’s Cornell Fine Arts Museum during its CFAmily Day on Saturday, Feb. 16.
Crealdé School of Art curator David Cumbie led guests on a sculpture garden tour on Saturday, Feb. 16.
A cappella outfit Voctave united with the Bach Festival Orchestra to make their orchestral debut during the Weekend of the Arts in Winter Park on Saturday, Feb. 16, and Sunday, Feb. 17.
The New York City-based Sportiello, Parrott, and Metz Trio played a lively jazz show at the Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts on Sunday, Feb. 17
