A new locally owned gym hosted its grand opening this week.

Mili's Gym, located off Dillard Street in Winter Garden, officially celebrated its grand opening on Monday, Jan. 3.

The gym caters primarily towards powerlifting, strongman, weightlifting and bodybuilding competitors.

"The gym is intended to bring out the competitor that lives inside all of us," Mili's Gym said. "It is intended to turn potential into talent, and goals into success. Whether you are training to compete, or working toward a better you, we want to support you in your journey."

Regardless of strength and fitness goals, the gym offers a variety of services including cardiovascular conditioning, plyometric and agility, and powerlifting.

"Mili's Gym is our chance to share our commitment to mental and physical health," the new gym said. "It is our way of channeling our love for good, healthy competition."

The gym is already attracting local community members such as the West Orange Chamber of Commerce who attended the event and helped to celebrate the grand opening.

"As members of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce, we are excited to plant the roots of our business here and watch our family grow even larger through our membership," Mili's said.

The gym is open Monday through Sunday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and can be found at 741 S. Dillard St.
