Winter Garden to discuss cemetery expansion-related proposal

The City Commission will vote Jan. 28 on whether to approve awarding a bid for cemetery survey and design services.

Winter Garden commissioners will discuss survey and design services for the city’s cemetery expansion when they meet Thursday, Jan. 28.

According to the meeting agenda, city staff will recommend that commissioners approve paying Cribb Philbeck Weaver Group, Inc. $96,985 to provide these services.

Elements of CPWG’s survey and design proposal include re-platting, lot layout, site staking, and a market-rate analysis to be prepared by Marshall and Stevens.

City leaders also will decide whether to approve the final plat for 14230 through 14150 W. Colonial Drive (West Market of Winter Garden) as well as for 14811 W. Colonial Drive (Royal Sky Plaza).

Additionally, the city will confirm the qualifying candidates for the 2021 general election for districts 2, 3 and 4.
