FAIRBANKS Avenue INFO MEETING

The city of Winter Park and CH2M HILL invite you to attend an updated design plan public information meeting for the Fairbanks Avenue Wastewater Utility & Roadway Improvements project. The public information meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 14, from 6-8 p.m., at the Rachel D. Murrah Civic Center, 1050 W. Morse Blvd.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the project progress and allow for public input that could be helpful during the current design.

The public information meeting will have an “open house” format. You may attend any time during the open house to discuss the planned improvements with the project team as well as view maps and displays. We encourage your involvement and look forward to hearing your comments.

Below is a brief project overview:

Roadway, streetscape and sewer system improvements to Fairbanks Avenue are currently being designed. The project limits are along Fairbanks Avenue from I-4 to U.S. Hwy. 17-92 with a sewer pipeline continuing along the Wymore Road corridor (including Cambridge and Salisbury boulevards) from the Fairbanks Avenue/Cambridge Boulevard intersection to approximately 2000 feet north of Lee Road. This project is being developed as a key component to support the infrastructure for the Fairbanks corridor redevelopment plan. The project construction is planned to start summer 2011.

To learn more about the design or share your thoughts and ideas about this project, please e-mail [email protected] or call 407-599-3233.
