I can do anything for 60 days, right? I hope so! Let's just say the first day was tough.
Like most people, I find that when I try to be healthy is when I crave all the worst foods for me! The first day, Sue wanted me to eat what I thought was a healthy diet. She gave me some small steps that most people know to do when they are on a health kick.
Pretty Simple right? Well, Here is what I ate:
Meal 1: 12 Grain Toast with All Natural Peanut Butter
Meal 2: Chobani Yogurt Strawberry and a Banana
Meal 3: Tropical Smoothie WP Turkey on wheat bread 1/2 sandwich and Water
Meal 4: 12 Grain Toast with All Natural Peanut Butter (Yes, that's a lot of peanut butter in one day)
Meal 5: Sauteed Chicken and Vegetables (Onions, Red, and Green Peppers) and Milk
Then before bed I totally snuck in a chocolate milk with my boys! I told you I had the diet of a toddler, right? Let me just tell you it took a lot to be strong on MOE Monday! They must have known I started my challenge because I got not one, but two texts for $1 off my Joey Burrito at the Moe's in Winter Park!
As far as a workout, I went for a run after work but I didn't have much energy from my new diet so I only made it about 25 minutes jogging. I'm excited for Day 2 because Sue is going to step in and help me with my diet, and I am going to try the Bar Method in Winter Park! I've never been before but my mom raves about it!
Rather than try to lose pounds, because Sue does not believe in the scale, we are going to take my measurements, and I will share those with you and track my progress!! (From someone who uses a scale, I lost one pound in one day)
Looking forward to Day 2!! Did you guys start your health kicks? How did you do yesterday? Does anyone have tricks to share with everyone? What are your favorite healthy foods? I need to incorporate more foods into my diet. Let me know! I want to hear from you.
Look for a post from Health Coach Sue Grafton about how I did and what is next!
