I knew that Day 5 was going to be a day of temptations! We had decided that week to have a girls' night at Luma on Friday, and I am no stranger to Chef Brandon's fabulous dishes! We take clients to Luma very often, and my meal of choice is the Eight Hour Pasta Bolognese. It is incredible. On my birthday I called Tim just to make sure it was going to be on the menu before making a reservation.

So that day I kept it simple. Here is what I had. There are some new items you should definitely try. Kashi tastes a bit like cardboard, fyi.

Meal One: whole wheat toast with 2 tablespoons of all-natural peanut butter

Meal Two: egg whites, peppers and light cheese in a wheat wrap

Meal Three: 8 ounces grilled chicken and veggies

Meal Four: 3/4 cup Honey Toasted Oat KASHI Cereal with 1 cup fat free milk

Meal Five: Luma's hamburger (no bun or ketchup), cheddar cheese and a side of grilled asparagus. (no FRIES)

Meal Six: 1 cup chocolate milk

I didn't work out on Friday! It was my one day off this week. But I had been on such a good streak that I contemplated working out when I got home that night from Luma.

Needless to say I made it through a girls' night without killing my diet! I even stayed away from wine, which is the only type of alcohol I usually drink! We all know Luma has a great wine selection.

Hope you guys are staying healthy. We only have a few weeks until bathing suit season! Try and keep your portions small and your options healthy.

Sue told me I'm not eating enough calories. I didn't think I would hear that from her, well... ever! She said I need to incorporate more healthy carbs with my small meals and more protein. Sounds good to me.

P.S. I'm down about 3 pounds and feeling really good!
