So much good stuff happening up and down Park Avenue!

First . . . . this just in! Sassafras Sweet Shoppe creator and Winter Parkpreneur Rebecca McCamy will be on with Anderson Cooper on his daytime talk show this week or next. Sorry we can't be more definite, but if you've ever had a personal face to face on national television, you know it's not always easy to get info. They exist in sort of a different world. Well, now that world includes our own Rebecca McCamy! Set your DVRs this week for Anderson's daytime talk show which airs locally on WESH-TV (Channel 2) @ 2 p.m. each afternoon.

Check out the pic of our LOCAL SWEETheart with the white-haired one. When it comes to looking good on camera, Anderson, you've met your match!

CONGRATULATIONS to Rebecca and her Sassy crew! We are super proud of you and LUV being a part of your ongoing success!

A few other tidbits from The Avenue . . . .

First, prepare for a relaunch on June 1 in the old Brandywine's location. Tiffany Deli will take flight one way or another on June 1. See my column in this week's Winter Park-Maitland Observer for more details. LOCAL jeweler turned deli-ranteur Bobby Simmons has stepped in to ensure we maintain a LOCAL, unique business in that location. It's the kind of story that just keeps me LUV 'n Winter Park more and more!

Also, at the end of next month watch for the opening of BurgerFi, in the old Downeast location, just off Fairbanks / Aloma. BurgerFi is set on the 'burgerfication' of the nation, and I'll surely be taking part! Check out their site for the goodies to come.
