The Maitland Senior Center will be closed on Nov. 22 and 23 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen on Monday, Nov. 26, at 9 a.m.
The Senior Speaker Series is the first and third Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m. Each month covers a broad range of topics that everyone will enjoy.
Nov. 6: Make holiday greeting cards, two to take home and one to send to U.S. troops stationed overseas. This special event is hosted by After 55 Housing and Resource Guide and Lutheran Haven. SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) will be at the Maitland Senior Center twice in November, once on Friday, Nov. 9, and again on Friday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. to noon.
