Maitland City Talk

On Monday, April 8, the Maitland City Council meeting will feature the swearing-in of three council members. As a result of the general election held on March 12, John Lowndes and Joy Goff-Marcil will begin new terms as elected officials of the city, and Councilman Ivan Valdes will be sworn in to assume his second term in office. The newly installed officials will join Mayor Howard Schieferdecker and Councilwoman Linda J. Frosch on City Council.

All members of the community are encouraged to attend the swearing-in ceremony that will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Maitland City Hall located at 1776 Independence Lane.
