Healthy Living Expo

Mark your calendar and join us for the inaugural Our Whole Community Healthy Living Expo! It will be held on Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Winter Park Community Center providing a great time for family to learn and have fun! This free community Healthy Living Expo is being brought to you by Our Whole Community (OWC). OWC is a Christian organization that brings communities together to establish relationships and share resources resulting in innovative programs that inspire, motivate and educate individuals in their pursuit of optimal health and wellness. OWC believes caring for your body is one of the best ways of caring for the soul and spirit, ensuring that we are effective in what God has called us to do with our lives. It is prudent that we learn and incorporate healthy living principles and make positive changes to guard our health and promote longevity. A healthy person has a well-functioning body, an active mind and a loving spirit. When all three of these components are in harmony, the quality of life is greatly improved.

Our mission is to educate our community to live the healthiest life possible. OWC has partnered with the city of Winter Park, University of Central Florida College of Nursing and the Florida Hospital Center for Family Medicine to provide you free health assessments and education at the Healthy Living Expo! We are providing free health screenings for: cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes and cancer risks.

Your time at the Expo can be spent with a team of professionals who want you to enjoy superior physical, mental and spiritual health. You will have access to a wealth of information on health and wellness from our team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists and wellness coaches. In addition, you and your family can participate in fun activities such as yoga, healthy cooking demonstrations and participating in discussions on healthy living, disease control and weight management. Further, there will be numerous vendors dedicated to providing you with information on excellent health and wellness products and services to help you achieve your health goals.
