The Rest of the Way: A Coming Out Story for Parents & Gay Children starts at 7 p.m. on July 11 at the Winter Park Public Library, 460 E. New England Ave. Join author and licensed mental health counselor Enid Jackowitz and her husband Syd as they share the story of their life transformation and reconciliation with their son, who came out as gay more 20 years ago. The Art and History’s Summer Concert Series continues at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 12, in the A&H’s Main Garden, located at 231 W. Packwood Ave. Guitarist Daniel Heitz leads his band The Revelators on July 12 in a program of blues and rock. Daniel has the chops, stage presence and talent, and he is only sixteen!
