New innovator

The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Leah Nash, chief innovator and owner of Trust Source Consulting, LLC, as the new Work Well Winter Park program manager. Nash will manage the workplace wellness program’s implementation, policy development, impact, and other program initiatives such as the monthly Health Education Series, sponsored by Whole Foods Market and Florida Hospital.

Paratrooper turns writer

Eric Wright, director of Business Development at Isis Solutions and Results, LLC and a former U.S. Army Sergeant and Paratrooper, was recently nominated to interview and write Wounded Warrior biographies for the Association for the United States Army’s quarterly newsletter. As a Service Disabled Veteran, he understands the importance of having a support structure such as the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Having this insight will equip him to best represent the warriors he interviews for a “Hero Story.”

Pro bono food

Joseph “Rusty” P. Carolan III, an Orlando area attorney shareholder with the law firm of Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman, P.A. partnered with his firm colleagues, and with the accounting firm of Cross, Fernandez & Riley, for a June 22 Volunteer Day at the Community Food & Outreach Center located at 150 W. Michigan St. in Orlando.

Nice ring to it

The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the promotion of Ashley Ringler to director of events and sponsorship. Ringler has served as events manager for the organization since June 2012, and overseen the management of various programs and signature events, including Sip & Stroll, Taste of Winter Park, Winter Park Autumn Art Festival, and Winter Park “Ye Olde Hometown” Christmas Parade.
