Henin comes home

The Henin Group, including Henin Homes, now based at its community Riviera Bella in DeBary, is moving to new corporate offices in Winter Park. Jerome Henin, founder and president of The Henin Group, said the company will move by May 1 to 2300 Lee Road in Winter Park.

Financial firms merge

Two local financial firms, The Vaughn Group and Provident Financial, recently announced that they are joining to form one entity, The Vaughn Group Inc. The firm will be the only one of its size in Central Florida to provide full-service financial solutions.

Construction employment climbs

Construction industry employment climbed for the 10th consecutive month in March, as the sector added 18,000 jobs and surpassed 5.8 million employees for the first time since September 2009, according to an analysis of new government data by the Associated General Contractors of America.

Winter Park Playhouse gets 2 awards

The Winter Park Playhouse, Central Florida’s only professional musical theatre, has received two prestigious local awards. The 2012 Community Organization of the Year Award from the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and the 2013 First Quarter Business Recognition Award from the City of Winter Park.
