The Hair Foundation’s Day of Hair and Skin Health Expo is from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Winter Park Civic Center. The Church of the Good Shepherd’s Outreach Ministry Fish Fry fundraiser will feature fish, french fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, baked beans, desserts, plus lemonade or iced tea for only $6. Central Florida Mineral and Gem Society, a not-for-profit educational organization, is presenting a Fall Mineral, Gem, Bead & Fossil Show on Oct. 11-13 at Florida National Guard Armory, 2809 S.
