Obituary: Marvin Thomas Sanders

He was born on January 12, 1927, in Oakfield, Tennessee. He was the first born of nine siblings. He worked on the family farm until joining the Army Air Corps. After leaving the service, he met Florence and they married in 1948. He worked as a farmer until moving to Ocoee in 1957.

He became a roofer, starting his own business, Sanders Roofing, in 1964. On retiring in 1993, he continued his hobby of gardening until his death.

He left behind sons Clifford Sanders (Lindsay) and Jeffery Sanders (Patty); granddaughters, Jennifer (Greg), Sarah (Lance), Gina, Ashley (Mathew) and Erin, RN; great-grandchildren, Kenny, DJ, Jenna, Kayla, Mathew and Cody.
