In honor of the nation’s home care professionals, Florida Hospital Home Care Services will join more than 2,200 home care agencies throughout Florida and tens of thousands more across the nation for November’s celebration of National Home Care month. This month-long celebration pays tribute to the dedicated home care professionals who enable elderly, disabled, and chronically ill individuals to live their lives where they want to most: in their own homes.

Every thirteen seconds another American turns sixty-five years old, a trend that will continue for the next twenty years. As the population ages, home care will become increasingly important in the health care delivery system.

“[FHHCS] is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care by our professional, compassionate, and experienced clinicians who assist our patients every day in re-gaining their independence at home. We touch the lives of 900 patients a month and provide 80,000 visits a year, and we appreciate our dedicated and compassionate clinicians,” says Craig Moore, Executive Director of FHHCS.

Established in 1985, FHHCS is a not-for-profit, hospital-affiliated home care agency, which is both state licensed and Medicare/Medicaid certified. It provides a variety of quality home care services to patients and their families in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties.
