Winter Park non-profits: looking for volunteers?

Leadership Winter Park, a program of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, is seeking submissions for service-based class projects from local non-profits, community advisory groups and small businesses. If your organization is in need of a small group of business professionals to assist in non-fundraising activities or initiatives, submit a proposal by Sept. 10. Organizations must be Chamber members to apply. Example projects include developing a marketing plan, mentoring, hands-on volunteer activities, market research or product development. Winter Park Art Festival leases new space

Winter Park Art Festival is the new tenant that’s leasing a 625-square-foot office at Louisiana Office Park, Emerson International's development located at 1133, 1155 and 1177 Louisiana Ave. in Winter Park. Michael Winn of Winter Park Land Commercial represented the tenant, according to Zac Starkey, leasing associate for Emerson International.

Local among ‘The Best Lawyers in America’

Winter Park resident Lynne R. Wilson, partner of the downtown Orlando law firm of ShuffieldLowman, was recently selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America as published in dozens of city and regional publications in the U.S. including, U.S. News & World Report. Wilson is named in the Real Estate Law section of Best Lawyers.

Wilson is one of the original founders of ShuffieldLowman and an experienced attorney in all areas of commercial real estate transactions, commercial lending, banking and finance.
