The City Council met at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 14 in the City Hall Chambers. Below is a synopsis of that meeting.

Two public hearings were scheduled:

• Ordinance - Petition No. 2015-05(AZ) (PD) 9000 Summit Centre Way

• Appeal of waterfront structure permit application denial – 450 N. Lake Sybelia Drive

The Consent Agenda was approved as presented:

• Approve the City Council Meeting Minutes of Nov. 23, 2015

• Approve the City Council Workshop Meeting Minutes of Nov. 20, 2015

• Approve the Special City Council Meeting Minutes of Nov. 30, 2015

• Receive the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Meeting Minutes of Nov. 4, 2015

• Receive the Planning & Zoning Meeting Minutes of Sept.17, Oct.1, Oct. 15 and Nov. 5, 2015.

• Receive the Fiscal Advisory Board Meeting Minutes of April 22, 2015

• Fourth Quarter Financial Snapshot

• Resolution - Investment Policy Revision

• Cancel City Council Meeting of Dec. 28, 2015

• Uptown Maitland East fifth amendment to Developer’s Agreement

• Approve mowing contract – Carol King Landscape

• Approve Vehicle/ Equipment Purchase - Don Reid Ford & Dana Safety Supply for two Police Department vehicles

Office closures

City offices will close on Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1, in observance of the holidays.

The Senior Center will close from Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, through Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. It will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016.
