Maitland, Winter Park rank high in Florida business study

Consumer finance website NerdWallet recently released a study that found the best places to start a business in Florida, and both Maitland and Winter Park made the top 20 out of 268 locations. Maitland took the No. 1 spot of the study, and Winter Park followed at No. 11. In determining their rankings, NerdWallet crunched Census data on each area’s business climate (average revenue of businesses, percentage of businesses with paid employees and businesses per 100 people) and local economic health (median annual income, median monthly housing costs and unemployment rate). Local attorneys awarded prestigious title

Attorneys Bradley M. Saxton and Ryan E. Davis from Winter Park law firm Winderweedle, Haines, Ward and Woodman (WHWW) were selected as 2015 Legal Elite attorneys by Florida Trend magazine. The “Legal Elite” designation represents the top-2 percent of the Florida Bar’s more than 67,000 members who practice in the state.
