Merchants raise money for pets

Merchants along Park Avenue raised more than $5,000 from July to September by selling topiary displays of pets and wildlife. All funds raised went to support the Lost Pets Foundation, WinterParkLostPets.com and the Sebastian Haul Fund. More than 1,000 pets have been reunited through the efforts of Winter Park Lost Pets since 2009 and more than 1,600 Central Florida greyhounds have reached their new families through funding provided by the Sebastian Haul fund since 2008.
