Winter Park Memorial Hospital named best place to work

Winter Park Memorial Hospital, a Florida Hospital, was selected by Modern Healthcare as one of the 2015 Best Places to Work in Healthcare. Modern Healthcare published its winners in a special supplement of their October issue today. In its eighth year, the award program identifies and recognizes outstanding employers in the health care industry on a national level. Modern Healthcare partners with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey. Winter Park Memorial Hospital is the largest employer in the city, with more than 1,400 employees who serve residents of Winter Park and surrounding communities.

Winter Park insurance professional named to list of industry’s elite

A Winter Park insurance professional has been recognized in a list of the industry’s female elite. Lenise Zika of Closson Insurance has been included in Insurance Business America magazine’s Elite Women in Insurancereport. This annual list recognizes the best and the brightest female insurance professionals. Insurance Business America asked readers, brokerages, agencies and insurers for their nominations and have narrowed it down to 40 talented individuals. The report highlights the women’s accomplishments and how they are changing the face of the industry.
