50 Cent to make Oviedo appearance

Those looking to get up close and personal with hip-hopper 50 Cent need only buy a bottle of vodka in Oviedo. He'll be at Pat's Liquor Leaf and Wine just north of UCF on Friday.

What does it take so say hey to Mr. Get Rich or Die Tryin'? A bottle of Effen Vodka, imported from Holland and being pushed as his personal brand. Buying a bottle gets you into a bottle signing with the man himself. Buying more than one is a ticket to the VIP line. The event runs from 8:30-10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, with VIPs requested to arrive before 9:30 p.m.

50 Cent has been touring the country for much of the year promoting his own brand, which launched in 2014.
