Kurt Meredith Warner, born Dec. 10, 1955, passed away after a short battle with lung cancer. He lived in Winter Springs. Kurt was a 1974 graduate of Millville High School in New Jersey. He loved music and played bass guitar and sang in many bands over the years including most recently a church band up until 2012. He was an avid movie lover as well! Kurt was also a wonderful chef and worked as a chef at Walt Disney World for years.
Kurt is survived by his daughter Madison, who will miss watching movies and playing guitar together, and his daughter Vanessa from a previous marriage, and two grandchildren. He will be missed by his loving parents Walter and Caroline Warner of Winter Springs, and two sisters Linda Morgan and husband John from Casselberry, and Robin Ramm and husband Mark from North Garden, Va. as well as his niece Valerie Ramm and nephew Kevin Ramm. Kurt was thankful for all the letters and phone calls he received in his last month and all the love that was showered on him. He will be forever grateful.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a college fund for Madison, as it was Kurt's wish that she could someday get a great education. If you wish to donate send donations to Linda Morgan [email protected]. Other choices are to donate to the Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, or St. Jude Hospital. There will be an online service for Kurt in the coming weeks to celebrate his life. His family thanks you!
