NAI completes lease agreement in Maitland

NAI Realvest recently completed new renewal and expansion lease agreement with 7-Eleven Corporation for its regional office in the 800 Trafalgar Court building in Maitland Center. Tom R. Kelley II, CCIM, a principal in the firm, and Associate Chris Adams negotiated the transaction representing the landlord, Maitland-based FFVA/Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association. Kelley said 7-Eleven renewed the lease of 2,185 square feet and expanded into another 1,800 square feet, using total 3,985 rentable square feet of office space for administration and training.

Hold-Thyssen negotiates five leases

Hold-Thyssen Inc., a commercial property firm based in Winter Park, recently negotiated five leases for a total of 22,077 rentable square feet of commercial flex and office space at centers in the College Park and Maitland areas. The Hold-Thyssen leasing team of Alex Rowlinson and Troy Stevens represented the South Florida based landlord in a long-term lease agreement for 10,777 square feet in the Kennedy Commerce Center at 997 W. Kennedy Blvd. The new tenant is Commercial Systems Group Inc., a fire and security alarm systems provider. Rowlinson and Stevens negotiated three more lease agreements for flex space in the Edgewater Commerce Center, 6250 and 6270 Edgewater Drive in College Park representing the same landlord. Hotsy of Orlando Inc., a pressure cleaning firm, signed a long-term lease of 4,800 square feet; Clean Sweep, a commercial cleaning service completed a lease renewal for 3,200 square feet; and Bowman’s Auto leased 2,000 square feet.

New homes available off of Maitland Boulevard

The M/I Homes community of Retreat at Lake Bosse is offering 35 home sites with single-family homes priced from the mid-$200s near the intersection of Magnolia Homes Road and Maitland Boulevard. Each home in the community is inspired by Florida and Mediterranean design with five of the home sites situated on Lake Bosse. New three, four and five-bedroom single-family homes at Retreat at Lake Bosse range from 1,758 square feet of living area to 3,873 square feet, priced from $265,000 to $430,000, according to David Byrnes, area president of M/I Homes in the Orlando region. Byrnes said one model — the Alameda – is available for viewing. The five-bedroom, four-bath two-story home with open concept living spaces and huge kitchen in 3,400 square feet of living area is priced from $333,000. The Retreat at Lake Bosse is close to the RDV Sports Complex, Lake Density Office Park and the Maitland corridor. Also nearby is Seminole State College, Altamonte Mall and Publix Super Market at Gateway Crossing.

Winston-James negotiates agreement

Winston-James Development Inc. recently negotiated an expansion lease agreement at Aloma Commerce Center, its office/warehouse development located at 2785 Wrights Road off Aloma Avenue and State Road 417 in Oviedo. Winston Schwartz, a principal at Winston-James Development, based in South Daytona, said Orlando Furniture Exchange, a tenant in 1,200 square feet at Aloma Commerce Center, leased another 940 square feet for a total of 2,140 rentable square feet. The tenant specializes in quality modern and contemporary refurbished furniture. The 75,000-square-foot Aloma Commerce Center is nearly 100 percent leased.
