Firm hires development services director
NAI Realvest, which ranks as one of Central Florida’s most prominent commercial property developers and brokerages, has named commercial real estate veteran Jon Walls as development services director for the firm. Walls has over 30 years of experience in real estate development consulting services. He was a principal at the statewide engineering firm Miller Legg, and was responsible for a variety of state, national and international clients. He was also a founder and vice president of civil engineering firm Ivey, Harris and Walls, in Winter Park.
Boys & Girls Clubs opens thrift store in Winter Park
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida (BGCCF) is pleased to announce the opening of its first thrift store located at 2054 State Road 436, Suite 140 in Winter Park. The 9,000-square-foot store is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The thrift store encourages donations of gently used items from the public. Those interested may drop off items to the store or the Syd & Marianne Levy Service Center, located at 101 E. Colonial Drive in Orlando. Additionally, BGCCF is available to help businesses coordinate a collection event for their employees and arrange large-item pickup at homes and businesses.
