Feb. 8 City Council meeting recap
The City Council met at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 8 in the City Hall Chambers. Below is a synopsis of that meeting.

The next City Council meeting is on Monday, Feb. 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the City Council Chambers at 1776 Independence Lane.
FDOT traffic advisory
FDOT is rescheduling the temporary closure of southbound U.S. Highway 17-92 under the railroad trestle. The closure will take place Thursday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. through Monday, Feb. 15, at 6 a.m. Motorists will be able to patronize local businesses located between Lake Avenue and Monroe Avenue. Save the date: The next Screen on the Green
Screen on the Green returns on Saturday, March 5. Showtime for “Pan” begins at 7 p.m. at Maitland Middle School Soccer Field at 1901 Choctaw Trail.
Road closed for about 180 days
The Lift Station No. 10 Rehabilitation Project started this week. This project consists of upgrading the station into a submersible pump station. This project is included in the Sewer System Master Plan Updates of 2005 and 2013. A 200-foot piece of North Lake Sybelia Drive near 600 N. Lake Sybelia Drive will be closed due to the project for approximately 180 days. More information, including two maps, can be found here: http://bit.ly/StationNo10.
