Jan. 11 City Council meeting recap

The City Council met at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 11 in the City Hall Chambers. Below is a synopsis of that meeting.

One presentation was scheduled:

• Decadal Performance of Maitland’s Symphony Orchestra – Jeff Flowers

Two public hearings were scheduled:

• Ordinance – Non Exclusive Construction & Demolition Franchise Agreement – Russo & Sons, Inc.

• Ordinance – Purchasing Policy Revisions

The Consent Agenda was approved as presented:

• Approval of the City Council Meeting Minutes of Dec. 14, 2015

• Acceptance of the Planning & Zoning Meeting Minutes of Dec. 3, 2015

• Approval of Maitland Surface Water Quality Sampling Contract
