Volunteers needed at Florida Hospital
Florida Hospital is in need of volunteers. Despite the roughly 2,000 volunteers spread across their campuses, there are still requests from more than 140 departments in Orlando alone for people willing and eager to lend a hand and help their community. The areas most in need are: Artists who are willing share their talent by bringing art to the bedside; avid readers who would be willing to read to patients or help them choose a story; pianists who share their love of music with patients, employees and visitor; and volunteers in customer service in their Emergency Departments and surgical waiting rooms. Volunteers typically assist in four-hour intervals. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Volunteer Services at [email protected] or 407-303-6938.
