Lake Mary Arts and Fitness Center coming soon

Precision Building Construction LLC has broken ground on the new $1.3 million Lake Mary Arts and Fitness Center. The 10,482-square-foot center will be jointly owned and operated by Focus Performing Arts Studio and Champion Karate/Knockout Fitness. The two companies have operated in separate locations in the Lake Mary area for about 14 years. The new building will provide larger facilities for both and be located at 905 Williston Park Point and Rinehart Road.

NAI Realvest negotiates leases

NAI Realvest recently completed two new lease agreements and one renewal totaling more than 7,000 rentable square feet of professional office space in Winter Park. Mary Frances West, CCIM vice president at NAI Realvest, negotiated a new lease of 1,240 square feet at The Gardens of Ravaudage, 1035 N. Orlando Ave. representing the landlord. Ear, Nose & Throat Associates of Orlando, PLLC and Principal Dr. Kapil Saigal, leased the second-floor office suite. West along with Tom Kelley II, CCIM a principal at NAI Realvest, and Associate Chris Adams also negotiated a new lease for 3,950 square feet at Gateway Plaza representing the landlord of the building located at 1201 S. Orlando Ave. The tenant is Sirote & Permutt PC, a Birmingham, Ala.-based law firm who leased 3,950 square feet for its Central Florida offices. Also at Gateway Plaza, Kelley and West negotiated a lease renewal agreement with Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc. for the 1,905 rentable square feet they have occupied there for several years.

M/I Homes opens new Oviedo neighborhood

M/I Homes recently opened Foster’s Grove at Oviedo its newest single-family home community located in Oviedo off of Geneva Drive. The homebuilder completed two new furnished and decorated model homes at Foster’s Grove at Oviedo that are available for touring. M/I Homes plans to build 94 new one- and two-story homes at Foster’s Grove priced from $371,000 to more than $600,000. New four-, five- and six-bedroom homes with Florida craftsman inspired style will range from 2,317 square feet of living area to 4,900 square feet. Land sale closes on Old Goldenrod

NAI Realvest recently negotiated the $610,000 sale of vacant development land at 4512 Old Goldenrod Road in Orlando. NAI Realvest Associate George Viele negotiated the transaction on behalf of the local sellers, Edward W. and Elizabeth A. Carpenter. BRXW Holdings, LLC purchased the 1.23-acre tract – which is zoned office-retail with 148 feet of frontage on South Goldenrod Road – for a full service car wash.

Olde Town welcomes new name

New leases signed on Edgewater

The Hold Thyssen leasing team of Alex Rowlinson and Troy Stevens recently negotiated two leases totaling 3,000 square feet of flex space at Edgewater Commerce Center, 6250 Edgewater Drive in Orlando. Rowlinson and Stevens negotiated the transactions on behalf of the landlord, a South Florida investor. Advantage Funding Leasing LLC signed a new three-year lease of 2,000 square feet for their vehicle and equipment-financing firm. Carney Electric LLC renewed its lease of 1,000 square feet. Edgewater Commerce Center is currently 86 percent occupied.
