Trinity Prep sophomore Charlie Aronson is on the verge of making the jump from JV to varsity on the baseball team. He’s already stepped in as a pinch hitter in four games for the varsity squad and as a catcher he’s thrown out seven players so far this season.

What’s your biggest strength on the baseball field?
I’ve been hitting pretty well this season. Hitting, probably. I’ve been working on it a lot.

Bryce Harper
What do you put on your pizza?
Veggies — mushroom, tomato, onions and spinach, stuff like that.
What’s your favorite TV show?
I usually watch baseball.
What’s the best trip you’ve ever taken?
I went to Europe last summer. I went to Portugal and England.
If you could learn any language, what would it be?
Spanish, so I could communicate better with Spanish teammates .
Do you have a favorite NFL team?
The Los Angeles Rams. My dad and uncle have always rooted for them since they were little.
You’re stranded on a deserted island. If you could only bring three things, what would you bring?
I’d bring my phone, a baseball bat and food.
What’s your favorite kind of music?
Rap, it gets me kind of hyped up before a game.
What did you do during spring break?
I stayed home and actually played for the varsity team. I’ve been going up and down this season. At the end of this season, I’ll go up to varsity.
